The structural intensity of the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes used in this wine blend perfectly complement the ripe fruit and chocolate flavours of Shiraz grapes used in it. The result is a rich, complex and hearty red wine of outstanding character. Big, bold and dark it is a luxurious treat.

These 30 bottle size wine kits have seven and a half litres of concentrate, need no sugar adding to make them and are supplied with all the yeast, stabiliser, finings and instructions so they are perfect for a beginner who is looking for quality wine.

House of Beaverdale contains pure grape concentrate of such high quality that it allows people to produce fine wines in their own homes, in a range of wines to rival those produced professionally in the greatest wine producing regions of the world.

To achieve this, Beaverdale use single grape varieties, or grapes from an area like Rioja. These come from all over the world, and represent some of the finest grape varieties. The grapes are carefully balanced with sugars to maintain the very highest standards of consistency and quality.

Like all grape wines, wine produced from Beaverdale kits will improve with keeping, but we firmly believe that even within a week of the wine being finished, you will be more than delighted with the taste. If, however, a few bottles from each batch can be laid down, they will have a chance to mature perfectly.

The packaging for Beaverdale kits is designed so when the kit is being made the wine bag is filled ’hot’, so the preservative has been reduced to a much lower level than is typical of wine kits. This was real benefit to the Beaverdale wine kit because it really improved the bouquet and the taste.
