Beer Heading Compound is a powder based on a natural polysaccharide, derived from seaweed - propylene glycol alginate (E405) and is used to promote head retention.

It can be used when making any beer or lager where a long lasting head is desired and should be added just before kegging or bottling the beer or lager.

Dissolve the powder in cold or hot water (max. 70°C). When completely dissolved, add to the beer stirring continuously.

Dosage:

Lagers and Pilsners: 5 to 10 g per 10 litres

All other beers: 3 to 8 g per 10 litlres
