This Evil Dog American Double IPA has been created around the powerful flavours of American Simcoe and Summit hops which in combination with the US West Coast Pacific Ale yeast used in the kit produces a beer with potent bitterness, bursting with the aromas of pine and grapefruit.

With 50g of hop pellets and the extract made from a selection of fine malts this American style double strength India Pale Ale has an ABV of a hefty 7.5%.

  • Bitterness: 40 - 45 EBU
  • Colour: 12 - 17 EBC

This kit contains:

  • Full instructions
  • 1 x pack of hopped malt extract (malted barley extract, barley extract, invert sugar and hop extract)
  • 1 x 10g sachet of dried Pacific Ale beer yeast
  • 1 x 25g sachet of Simcoe hop pellets
  • 1 x 25g sachet of Summit hop pellets
  • Makes approximately 40 Pints (23 Litres)

In order to make this kit you may need:

  • Sterilizing powder
  • Brewers bucket
  • Water
  • Syphon
  • Hydrometer
  • Long stirring spoon
  • Measuring jug
  • Carbonation drops / priming sugar
  • Bottles or Barrel
