Crushed Malt - Black Malt 100g Pack

Black Malt as the name suggests is used in the production of darker beers such as milds, stouts and porters. It can of course be mixed with the lighter malts to recreate your favourite beer or perhaps create your own secret recipe.

Black malt should be used sparingly (no more than 5% of total malt content of your brew) and has a very strong burnt coffee flavour.

This malt is produced by Warminster Malts,has a colour of between 1220 and 1440 EBCs and is supplied ready crushed in 100gm, 500gm, 1Kg, 3Kg and 5Kg packs.
