Crushed Malt - Cara Malt 5Kg Pack

Caramalt offers rich caramel notes which are balanced by muscovado sugar, roast coffee and dark chocolate, with a lingering of dried fruits. This malt greatly increases head retention and body.

It has a very light sweet malt flavour is used instead of crystal malt when making beers where a lighter colour is required. It can of course be mixed with the other malts to recreate your favourite beer or perhaps create your own secret recipe.

It is used in all sorts of Lagers, Pale Ales and Bitters. Caramalt should make up no more than 20% of total malt content of your brew.
