Currently a limited edition Woodland Citra Session IPA is the one of the latest editions to the Festival Premium Ales range of beers which aim to celebrate the best of British beer.

Oakham Ales famous Citra Session IPA is a vibrant tribute to one of the pioneering styles from America's craft beer movement that made it's way to the UK back in the early 2000's. Inspired by this famous IPA, Festival's Woodland Citra Session IPA has been developed in homage to this fine British beer and raises a glass to our favourite US hop.

Golden in colour with a white head and an ABV of 4.6%, the juicy, tropical notes of the Citra hops offer hints of sun-ripened mango and pineapple.

Bursting with citrus fruit flavour layered over a biscuit malt base this beer has a moorish crisp finish.

  • Size:  35 pint
  • Bitterness: 4 (0-Least to 5-most bitter)
  • Hop additions: 70g of Citra
  • ABV: 4.6%

The UK is steeped in brewing history and is home to its own unique style of beer that is now imitated the world over. Along with the original powerhouses of commercial brewing there has been a recent increase in the number of fantastic micro-breweries that are now carrying the torch of creative brewing. Festival Premium Ale kits pay homage to some great beers that in our opinion are truly outstanding examples of what the UK has to offer.
