This is a multi purpose strain which enhances volume and intensity for full varietal flavour expression and so produces full bodied, full flavoured dry and sweet wines. This moderate fermenting yeast also promotes excellent flavour complexity, good body and structure and balance whilst still preserving and respecting the full natural flavour and aroma characteristics of the grape. 

Its multi purpose nature makes it a great fit for red wines such as Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir as well as white wines such as Chardonnay, Semillon, Muscat, Pinot Gris and more.

Flavour / Mouthfeel Characteristics: Wines made with this yeast will be richly flavoured and expressive, exhibiting good mouthfeel, texture and palate intensity. The wines created using this strain also benefit from cooler fermentaion (below 22ºC) as this allows for maximum flavour developement.

Aroma Characteristics: This strain will fully express the aroma characteristics of the grape or fruit being fermented and will result in a wnie with heightened aromatic qualities.

Higher Alcohol Wines: This yeast is not suitable for wines above 13% ABV.
