SG Wines (formerly Solomon Grundy) 6 Bottle 7 Day Country Wine Making Kit - Blueberry (Bilberry)

This SG Wines (formerly Solomon Grundy) Country wine kit range embraces the flavours commonly enjoyed in traditional country wines. Wines with freshness, zest and complexity rarely found from simple to brew wine kits and in a convenient 6 bottle size that allows the avid winemaker the opportunity to stock their cellar with a rich variety of country wines without the need to build an extension!

This Bilberry wine kit makes a sweet and fruity red wine with the rich and aromatic flavour of bilberry (blueberry).

Each kit contains a grape juice concentrate blend pouch, wine yeast sachet, yeast nutrient sachet, acidity regulator sachet, stabiliser sachet, flavouring pouch & finings pouches along with full instructions and produces 6 bottles of great tasting wine at very low cost!

The Solomon Grundy Country Range of wine kits simply require the addition of 800g of sugar or 890gm of brewing sugar along with water to make them and will produce wine with an ABV (Alcohol by Volume) of 12%. It is also recommended that you add 430g of sugar to sweeten the fininshed wine.

If you do not have any brewing equipment, you may need:

• 2 x 5L fermenting buckets (one for brewing, one for transferring/racking)
• Airlock and bung
• Plastic Spoon (to stir and degass the brew)
• Hydrometer (to check that fermentation is complete)
• Syphon tubing
• Sterilizing powder
• Bottles or suitable storage e.g. demijohns
• ABV is 12%
